After a year-long hiatus,
Twenty One Pilots have finally broken their silence. The two-man band has released a music video for a new track, "Jumpsuit." They also released the audio for another single titled "Nico and the Niners." Both tracks were revealed to be taken from their latest album, TRENCH.
Their first since Grammy-award winning BLURRYFACE in 2015, TRENCH is their fifth studio album and is scheduled to be released on October 15 by Fueled By Ramen.
In the music video, singer
Tyler Johnson is being chased by a hooded figure in a red cloak, while rapping about darker themes than in previous albums. It is directed by
Andrew Donoho , a regular collaborator of the band; he directed the iconic music video for Heathens, which was featured in the hit movie Suicide Squad and was also nominated for the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Award for Best Music Video.
The duo also announced a world tour in support of the album, which is set to kick off on October 16, the day after its release at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
