A billboard reading 'Oprah for President' appeared in Los Angeles Friday, days after her powerful Golden Globes speech prompted speculation that she is considering a run for the White House.
The sign, which has a half black, half white smiley face which shapes the 'O' in Oprah, came just a day after President Trump was lambasted for remarks about disallowing immigrants from 'sh**hole' countries. The remarks have been widely construed as racist.
The countries Trump was reportedly referring to were in Africa, as well as Haiti and El Salvador, during a meeting on immigration in the Oval Office.

Speculation on a potential 2020 run for Oprah began following her powerful awards speech Sunday (left) in which she said 'a new day is on the horizon.' President Trump on Tuesday told reporters he doesn't think she will run, but that he'd win
The large sign, with a vibrant pink background, sits atop a building at 1828 Oak Street and can be seen off the 10 and 110 freeway interchange.
The building houses Los Angeles LBGT clothing line 'I Am Gay' which says it wants to start an 'Oprah For President' movement, according to CBSLA.
Following the former talk show queen's triumphant Globes speech proclaiming 'a new day is on the horizon,' rampant speculation began about the possibility of her running for president in 2020.

On Tuesday, Trump responded to reporters: 'Yeah, I'll beat Oprah,' adding 'Oprah will be a lot of fun.'
Trump added he knows her 'very well' and appeared with his family on one of the final episodes of 'The Oprah Winfrey Show.'
'I did one of her last shows. She had Donald Trump - this is before politics - her last week and she had Donald Trump and my family, it was very nice,' the President said.
However, he added, he doesn't think it will ultimately happen.
'I like Oprah, I don't think she's going to run,' he said, repeating, 'I don't think she's going to run.'

While she hasn't confirmed her political ambitions since Sunday's speech, sources have said she is 'actively thinking' about it and best friend Gayle King says she is 'intrigued' by the idea
While Oprah herself has thus far remained quiet on her political ambitions since Sunday's awards show, her best friend Gayle King, one of the co-hosts of CBS This Morning, said the media maven is 'intrigued' by the idea of running for president.
But, King added, 'I don't think she is actively considering it, I don't think she is actively considering it at this time.'
'No, I absolutely don't think that her position has changed, I don't,' King told her CBS This Morning co-hosts, who were grilling her on the topic. 'I was up talking to her very late last night,' King added.
'I do think this though guys, I do think she's intrigued by the idea, I do think that,' King continued.
'I also know that after years of watching the Oprah show, you always have the right to change your mind,' the CBS anchor added.
King noted that there are already people lining up to be Winfrey's campaign manager and volunteers for a potential bid.
'She loves this country and would like to be of service in some way,' King said.
Two unnamed pals of Winfrey's added to the speculation by telling CNN Money that the longtime talk show host is 'actively thinking' about a bid.
