Residents and stakeholders are invited to join Missouri City officials, staff and representatives of Niagara Bottling for the official grand opening of the newly expanded community playground that was made through a partnership with the entities and the National Recreation and Park Association.
“We’re grateful for our partnership with the National Recreation and Park Association and the opportunity for our Team Members to volunteer in their city,” said Kristen Venick, director of Niagara Cares. “As a family owned and operated company, we value commitment to community and are thrilled to provide children with a fun and safe place to play.”
This sentiment was echoed from Missouri City Parks & Recreation Director Jason Mangum, who said, “This playground is another recreational amenity that will help us to further our fitness initiatives with youth citywide.”
The event is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Community Park, 1700 Glenn Lakes Lane, Missouri City, TX 77459.
