Kingdom Come: Deliverance is now available, but if you haven't already bought the game and downloaded the day one patch, you may want to hold off a couple of weeks if you plan to play on your console. While day one patches typically keep things from breaking, the game sized patch Kingdom Come players had to download today appeared not to address any of the issues. The good news is Warhorse is aware of the bugs, but there's not much they can do for console players for approximately two weeks.
Kingdom Come creative director Daniel Vavra confirmed on Twitter that Warhorse is aware of the issues. Steam players already have the latest patch, but it's going to take approximately two weeks for the patch to be available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 gamers. It's a long wait, but you can thank the QA and certification process for Sony and Microsoft for that. Once the patch for each console is certified, Warhorse will be free to deliver them to console gamers, and hopefully stop you from walking through horses.
If the launch day bugs don't bother you even with the 23 GB day one patch, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is available to pick up and play today. If you'd prefer to have some of the bugs patched out before you pick it up, you could be waiting a couple of weeks unless you have a PC capable of running the game.
2/2 Next patch is coming soon and will fix lot of quest bugs and other issues like frame drops. Expected release in approx 2 weeks. And BTW my favorite so far is this one... :) https://t.co/L68nI6OFkq
