HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) – Two people were taken to the hospital and a pet was revived Monday evening after a house fire in Huber Heights.

Huber Heights Fire Division told 2 NEWS that the fire started in the bedroom of the house, located in the 5700 block of Belmar Drive, and was fully engulfed when crews arrived at the scene.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames within three minutes of arriving.

Two people were inside the home at the time and have been taken to the hospital due to smoke inhalation.

One dog was also reportedly revived.

The fire remains under investigation.
